The deadline for submitting our bid to Canadian Heritage was November 30, 2009. Edmonton EXPO 2017 submitted its bid to the Province of Alberta and Canadian Heritage by this deadline. , S! K5 r0 N0 t/ |5 X) v
The Canadian bid city decision is expected in spring 2010. 6 B$ v6 b: p& X1 }( i) d, o6 y9 T
The international competition follows. The earliest Canada can submit its bid is in June 2011. 0 I7 X" X& q' W# tThe host city will be voted on by members of the International Exhibitions Bureau in the fall of 2012. 7 g+ G6 m& H9 V8 I5 v; Q0 O' x% ~9 P8 S: z0 Q' ^
