一千八百多年前(即后汉年代),寿司已在中国流传,至公元700年寿司开始传入日本。当时是一些商旅,用醋腌制饭团,再加上海产或肉类,压成一小块,作为沿途的食粮,后来广泛地流传日本,当时的配料更用上各种剌身,并名为“江户散鮨”亦称“握鮨”,即是现今最受欢迎的寿司。. m9 x$ ^8 U& R# \

数现代日本寿司,除“握鮨”外,尚有两种“卷鮨”与“箱寿司”。“卷鮨”是把饭、青瓜、吞拿鱼、鸡蛋与腌萝卜等材料用紫菜包着。“卷鮨”又分为太卷与细卷,顾名思义,大小之分也。+ v/ L1 t! A; h3 F

Sushi is also popular in the US. * S( `+ k& S2 t- X3 d: [: p) R V $ n6 i1 J) c; g- zLast week when I was in Beijing WangFuJing, I was surprised to see so many Sushi places, all with the moving tables!!!
