  m; o5 N; \% q$ I+ J- K% o8 W. ^) y' ] The Field Operator is responsible for monitoring production in field locations surrounding the Balzac Gas Plant facility (10 minutes north of the Calgary city limits; 30 km from the downtown core). This position works a 35 day shift rotation, which includes 12 hour days/nights and 9 hour training days. This role is bound by the terms of the Collective Agreement (Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Local 773).

-  Display competency with operations procedures checklists and critical procedures;
2 m6 h7 M0 b: G6 {% E3 @-  Provide day to day control of producing wells, pipelines and associated production equipment;
-  Make and carry out recommendations to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtime;
-  Ensure all field related activities are completed safely, on schedule and in an environmentally safe and cost effective manner;
+ J1 S4 W2 U  `3 v1 k5 |; s-  Comply with all EH&S, Corporate and Regulatory rules and procedures. Report any unacceptable conditions and incidents;
& Z. @5 g, l) o7 U6 K, U-  Work in a team-oriented atmosphere and contribute to the ongoing success of the Balzac Complex;

- ]# o3 d" @% i5 W - Grade 12 diploma or equivalent in training and experience;
-  Minimum of 3 years' related experience operating sour gas wells, pipelines and compressors;
% J- O! E2 O7 _4 L8 Y7 P9 k% v* H8 d-  Current H2S Alive certification or equivalent;
4 w7 |7 D3 U0 g) }2 h" l' _-  Dependable, organized and self motivated;
9 _  M  v$ W1 ]7 X-  Strong initiative and problem solving skills;
# p/ y5 L$ ^  T/ q-  A willingness and ability to work in outdoor conditions.
