Job Duties / Responsibilities
* H9 i0 a9 S: f5 R* Q8 `This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
* N2 j7 P3 q3 p9 t7 w• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
" L- _7 u4 x) T3 ~0 P5 ^• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel% j4 S3 H8 ?) Y: a) p) {
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts$ ]; V; @$ O* a( [2 Z; s# q
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments5 ^7 c' \8 n, a' z
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams1 o3 q a% f6 h3 U/ Z
• Autocad and Microstation drafting/ s( [( [9 b0 Z9 o& |
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables. `! |8 Y4 Q2 F% _& M+ v( Q" b
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator% L! H: }; r5 n8 u* I8 c) P
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data." B9 U+ S6 }, F" D9 J5 A3 t$ U1 z

% F1 r+ L0 M; }" E. ~ KEducation / Experience- C4 S! R5 F% r1 P4 t$ h! ?! J ^
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI& k( F2 f( L' ~6 J& w1 T
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator1 R" y( o& O% q9 e# P4 Q: G
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered" ]# B9 G( `5 w% x5 @& f7 g
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required% C3 N9 k* d, \, B4 ?9 \
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset5 L( H9 p; `. M7 B2 t* ^2 p; N* C
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
