Job Duties / Responsibilities
1 _, v. R/ h! E$ a2 |2 B( S- F6 KThis role is responsible for the following activities representing site: ( e4 }: I) ?9 D0 y
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
; Q7 i& [6 ?7 G7 l! I• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
. H/ ?6 K5 J' P: \, T# s) t• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
' Y3 ~3 M {$ A4 K. c• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
6 `' S8 c' {. h+ t1 e• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

% x" f, i! K1 H, @; i• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables( M, K! S) y9 d7 t
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator) Q; y! x; M9 C% ~
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.+ X: Y) X7 |0 l6 _

Education / Experience
* \6 G1 K2 a# ], \: L! R3 L K• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI; G5 c& k! O. h ?% b
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
- p* i: a* G. }• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
) K$ N! V8 U6 B0 i4 u• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required/ `9 D+ O7 V) U' |
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
$ o- D% h0 X0 m4 e Q" n5 J• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
