This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: + Q8 t) Y* V" c/ m) y* s6 z
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
7 g8 O% K1 O* V' a3 v• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
2 n1 A2 s/ C3 }1 f! f• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
' m6 l6 w1 t/ N& }% r/ n1 i! ]• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments2 o4 a g B8 O2 p
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables+ U! C& e% p8 s+ p7 b- R
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
# D! S% D1 U! ^$ a. h" q g: h- X• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

/ m% J5 g9 m+ [9 D- [• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI# S, D7 l' q* ^
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator; U3 y) k* G. L3 s
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
; J1 X3 j i& a- y- V0 a2 f• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required2 E2 l: u6 {+ ?4 x1 j
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset1 y, z1 \. ?6 q# h
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
