0 b* }) Y- |; z- |1 uTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:
24 HOURS OVER 4 MONTHS
This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
3 x' D5 B* J- F  pEligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
" O0 k+ Q9 f  X! h1 e. ~" ~) }•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
. O) S) l5 n2 N•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
( P+ ?, ]9 _: l) S" ^3 _•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
  n5 v& q& U3 n6 d•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
•Be eligible to work in Canada

•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning

" [4 J* r6 U- |7 S4 h8 [* _. [The maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
