Police Service Preparation Program

, L: }' ?% w, CThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Entrance Criteria

5 J% a0 ~2 T5 b; z, h: C• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
* r  ^: T" t$ Y" r• Unemployed or underemployed
7 i  @! {0 ]# V* \% M) H# X• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
6 e: q& U. o3 P) e# L• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
