T4 T' Z, g% RCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

# }$ `8 _; r' }5 u% n' F• Complete data entry in various programs.

3 d/ `9 [4 l' Z• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.$ W- ^4 F; `' x% m" E

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.5 D5 N$ s$ ?/ J2 h6 U8 _

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.) J0 O( j" D: k! O. V; \

6 P, i# p: [9 s$ |( ?• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.5 Z- ?3 c6 W, y' x$ v8 j: Y

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.. l+ [  ?% b+ g- U

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.! Y. l7 {3 o! x6 E9 o8 J

) t* D* V  N: ], }& {# a% t• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.1 q7 I7 S; i$ B: }. C- j

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.% j5 S$ p: ]+ {$ b6 }* L

% X$ q" w: W* S* c6 |• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

# f$ z0 s* u' A! ?8 r• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.' J( b+ Y8 w" y; B. d4 A

1 b$ m) \. Q- H" M8 D• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.8 s, ^5 J% s) `

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.' q& o" n( x/ T4 N

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions- w9 `( I. p$ b& q0 Y- ]- X9 F

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.8 b: d4 N" f: x; _, N

, `$ r: _+ A$ T• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events., {( }& r( W. m5 ^2 Q

• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting+ b$ y! u! Q& U9 ~& f7 P3 V

+ j* ?( }6 t7 x# B6 hSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.7 x7 V0 Z/ L' [
