Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

# Y3 H) T. K2 a" IEDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

9 \. R8 X; `$ G1 B/ G sPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.2 L; v) B! w0 C2 d. z& S

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
