• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
9 `4 a. _) j+ p0 Z• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
4 V# ~+ D$ P/ Z* z0 w7 P+ z8 G• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
7 r6 w# X" \, l9 x6 }) e! @• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
- y5 C0 U0 ]- O/ r# ?" d• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
, }1 \( _( a, V) p& F/ M0 a6 l• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
# X7 x- H1 P" G: H5 J% l• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
6 J0 {3 ~" n! W* q1 ]+ s) ^5 n• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
& W& N7 l$ p/ f1 X• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
! n: S8 a  C% }9 l: y  w• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
8 N% H  S6 {+ \5 |+ h5 f3 P9 o* b• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
5 h9 x, L; g, C6 `* p• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
( J2 m7 d. V' N" x* D" g• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
: t9 y! e9 k- f• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
0 r5 V# C8 a$ z# s/ H% x• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
" \1 Z7 Z) z5 I' b4 f3 G) T# S• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
( R/ k$ Z7 k# w# x& p' o/ J$ H• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- w! O4 }& v# |" k+ ?4 H, v• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
; ^, B2 W3 p' h- V• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
% j# K7 b8 y: a" X* s- p! N* {• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
/ k# [" T2 N6 @1 O• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
. H4 ^9 S4 Y- x" k/ h& _5 O• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

* C& L$ T) I( u, E. w- G• Grade 12 / GED.
- U& u6 h, {8 q$ G% D• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
$ _0 s; E% G( m; I• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
& ]  s8 V7 [5 i, v• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
/ H% e6 D* B4 r2 T2 k• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
