Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
; p' d% v. d3 J: d3 V( Y. j• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
% t5 m, c' {4 c4 \" [2 `• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
( o4 X) B6 A3 |distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
) w3 R/ N+ N% y: C5 o• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
; ^' ^* ~+ a, ^+ B. w1 v• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
, V9 Q# K/ C7 v6 R• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
) m% }$ ^( d/ Y7 b+ O' j• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
6 B( A8 }. @. s3 N% D4 D$ b5 ~• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
; T- H+ v& q3 h1 H+ H• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
* H/ i/ G; K: Q9 ?# D• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
+ R! k, N" ?5 @3 o9 X• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
6 j9 v1 t( m: m4 _' ^& u: n5 a6 l• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
* r4 ]2 ]( b( `1 J• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
% u+ C- P( L$ d$ Z5 X• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
! C7 `, n3 e' l3 b3 B2 T8 ?6 {• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
) F9 q; v- M' q& O• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
5 T5 X! n" S7 d3 b- @3 p$ f8 ^& r1 T• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
  ?' {$ R# t3 M* F• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
* S: l6 R  Y- n; }: [5 t• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
" L1 f6 l) n- |4 U) c& ]' y/ Y• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
+ T! t9 R& v. G( ^• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
1 w$ I8 N  ]1 p: b2 i3 w& p• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
. s% g+ W  j  |4 {( M3 L• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
. U9 G, b  ~8 ^: x( U8 `3 M( T• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

$ Q2 T  W' C$ \( P6 gEducation / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
0 W( W  x# x" R4 M" @1 `• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
' H. s+ p) Y# t% s5 t* a9 k• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
