There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont., D# h5 l& H- @
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
! p# Z; P h4 {/ RIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.8 B6 ]+ Y, b9 j1 y5 M

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).5 [4 c9 L6 p( I- @- E
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.0 m6 Q+ w0 f/ v) V5 X4 K, @
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.* g& i+ ]( F' g0 w4 ?

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
