Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late)./ D) K# k r! @2 h
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
$ \' b; U* Z6 Y3 iThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.: k/ J7 G G" t4 p1 P( U

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
