Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential! U; L$ ^) b: R; }2 m4 z* d7 h
skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded8 A6 J! |9 o: ^3 {2 S( ^9 N* p& W
program combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
* d8 o3 c. D3 O# g4 y1 A6 R/ @' ~experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as9 p G/ L3 p# ~, U) m$ \
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food

* N8 o) z: D) ~0 [, RCandidate Profile:, e" B! x, t9 }7 Y
/ s# U! m2 n; \9 PCandidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian. R1 k3 {6 [8 `" Y3 K, l: y
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:/ v1 n8 R" ^ A3 ?- `# S
* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
6 N5 L% i: o* r; A% N! u* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-5 e7 b$ ]: d3 }+ [, I
secondary education
" o" w9 I( V# `/ d! [* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand

* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
