A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors+ ~* d* N' \3 _8 r8 T3 Y2 u4 q9 H; l
• Answer multi line telephone system9 s2 I' g6 M _( `+ ?: K' n
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
6 \! @5 p( I% P. N• Arrange courier services for all departments
! o1 h* `8 C; ?, C% j• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

( }) L$ f7 P2 f7 sAdministration
- o* Q# F" O3 a6 }• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail4 ~4 Y1 o1 n! V. I* ~
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
+ ~* c: X% s, u• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
3 }6 }3 [; x! ?% T• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
/ ` }0 U7 `6 j4 x8 S& N• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
1 o& x# x+ K1 o4 T7 j) M• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution2 U2 G. H; Q5 c# Q+ X9 I0 ^1 R1 p2 d' o
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments , G$ c) J H+ n1 I. d/ g, Q
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

C& ?* P6 B1 K0 a- r0 }• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
5 u i9 Y G8 v2 D• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
) f7 m2 p$ F0 j5 a( u• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
