A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.$ L; F, B; q3 W# V# K X$ Y

Reception
2 E3 d8 g i% E" ?• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors
0 T, m: Z% j: _• Answer multi line telephone system
+ Y$ [! [2 l% E& z {• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
+ _: y! q7 U% B/ z4 h$ Y, ?• Arrange courier services for all departments; A/ c8 e3 R$ }( h0 b
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers, ]3 [8 L" n& T6 N u) ]

& @" D/ t8 j% Q9 n) S9 q• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
+ m+ z& Q, Z/ E+ H• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
0 F( V% V, ^( y. P& n• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

Qualifications:

2 I2 k3 Q& C2 `/ z8 n l$ o+ b• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
2 C6 J. \3 c/ y* y• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
0 \. o+ V0 }9 ?$ Q. V4 W• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
7 M' J2 y+ T3 W• Excellent verbal and written communications skills * D) x7 w3 A4 w1 C/ a
• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
