I surfed this website, it offers quite a few ,probably every kinds of orchids, for me , I only know the Phalaenopsis Orchid. How should I say, it is too complicated for the entry level orchid lovers.

Tea rose is not as hardy as the regular one, Plants them in a spot with winter sun and protect them with winter wrap may get them a better chance to survive our winter, but often different hybrids have different hardiness depending on parentage(breeding line) so success is  acquired often by trials of different hybrids. Nowadays there are so many modern hybrids that  Some salespeople may be able to give suggestions if they are familiar with what they are selling.

+ W+ E% c# E" C+ c- Z% a" qThere are many other orchid genera that are as easy as phalaenopsis and  only you move one step further  then you will realize many(not all) of them are actually a lot easier than many other plant families. Of course, interest always  precede a trial.

我查了很多资料了,但没有在ZONE3区能过冬的例子,都是ZONE5-6的,但我又最喜欢HIＢＩＲＤ　ＴＥＡ　ＲＯＳＥ．

( H5 U# B: X6 Q$ wCattleya(including SLC, LC, BC, BLC hybrids),
, M' k: Z% J6 g7 M$ q# }9 Y4 x+ T+ CPhrag.( a South American Lady slippers orchid genus),
3 a5 D% [+ P4 i' |" FOncidium( dancing dolls orchid, you may see them for sale at Homedepot; the spraying yellow flower type is the easiest of this genus),
6 s( p* d8 J8 |# @. C! T4 ZDendrobium( common Asian genus).           OR

) w* j% x+ b( `% E) bJoin OSA and go to its monthly meeting where you will see a lot more different kind of orchids and meet many experienced hobbyists that are most happy to answer any questions you may have. They hold sales every month too.
