The United Kingdom currently has the most confirmed swine flu cases in Europe, with 1,461 cases identified since April. Dozens of other suspected cases await confirmation in Scotland.

When a WHO lab based in London doublechecked the finding, the tests were negative, said Health Minister Darko Milinovic. Earlier tests at a Croatian lab were also negative.

9 `$ p# c) ?5 dTwo people with swine flu in Manitoba also died — a man in his 40s with no known significant underlying health conditions and a woman in her 40s with serious health problems — provincial health officials announced Tuesday.
