4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
$ Y) ~! S9 E# `& H+ E# }• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.7 c$ C4 ?6 e" e# P @
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. ( c& g( F" H8 Y$ X1 L6 ]' v* y
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
* E4 l+ Q2 t' ~+ ?• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.# z# J& E ^8 W% x5 \ L& L* V
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.3 J3 j3 ~ m& |: C/ L6 p' c; R' g
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

) |7 V$ P7 d: o+ d7 _The successful candidate will have:
6 m8 Y+ l3 t- T4 ]• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
- T1 o1 q# D) q* L( e6 o9 R4 G" k; T• Experience with children: H& l$ b/ p V5 C4 a4 h _ T% \# Z
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
+ _/ L& t I% }: s• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.; W v- j( x( }7 q; o
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented./ o4 ?8 x( o9 j. D, b' w
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
+ Z0 ?- U0 ]7 ?% F) C• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
