& B8 l9 }# B3 G/ {0 |! N6 TBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

$ E0 R# A$ Y8 o0 ]: c5 a+ A: pKey Responsibilities Include:
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
$ Y) ~! S9 E# `& H+ E# }•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
* E4 l+ Q2 t' ~+ ?•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

) |7 V$ P7 d: o+ d7 _The successful candidate will have:
6 m8 Y+ l3 t- T4 ]•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
- T1 o1 q# D) q* L( e6 o9 R4 G" k; T•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
+ _/ L& t  I% }: s•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
+ Z0 ?- U0 ]7 ?% F) C•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
0 J! L5 g: e- O8 C# v/ h6 Q# u•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
