(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

3 Q4 P. Z' o0 V. ]' Q& lActivity Planning and Daily Activity
2 t9 K& T+ M) w. O) U& m$ \• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.' K! Z# m0 {. W) c7 [# U2 K
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
8 `5 S( [( F6 U* M* }• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
! c# N/ k3 c. H' }! ~& A0 ^• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
/ g: i* K3 h6 T* v/ K9 q) w( B• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
+ d$ T( z! C( t, G• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.4 q3 ?. i f' I& r

The successful candidate will have:
2 M! u, ~" F4 c- A- G" }• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
2 P2 G {; E! c1 R0 d• Experience with children
; T4 U# @4 n. d/ Z" p- r6 k• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
. w. j; n9 }, P0 n N; m% p• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.2 ?9 ^8 H' H: m
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.( }! L- \+ d1 U& r+ ?
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
2 e( Q" H2 H) e1 m• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
