: @* ~, @- o/ p1 S  CParticipating in data migration and conversion initiatives
* l/ x( P8 O8 y6 M% H2 ]3 gPerforming changes to software configurations as requested by the customer
+ f( `& i9 f/ c, J2 K3 O; z7 J+ u; aPerforming  the analysis, design, development and review of production  scripts (datafixes, queries; ad hoc and production batch jobs - extract and update)
Troubleshooting production issues
  y* ]& I+ b! ^Participating in the development and documentation of standards and procedures for work performed by the Application Support team
& C5 u- O; S1 K3 x( ]Maintaining information required to support products after implementation (e.g., changes to customer contact information, changes to authorized approvers, etc.)
# l4 n3 ]  i, _/ H$ z! I! W& vProviding technical and work management of 1 – 2 analysts on small projects
1 i2 O0 O$ p! j+ rProviding application and environment training to other SSD Operations employees, primarily other Application Support Analysts and Customer Support Specialists
1 G' r% M1 k' W! \& DDeveloping tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Application Support team.
& [4 `5 ]" \+ X6 O- i& W7 \" TWork directly with clients, both internal and external to SSD.

" d3 D" ~5 A* C* R* }" o4 sDiploma or certificate in the Computer Systems field plus 4 or more years of practical experience in application support and/or software development
: e7 C8 |9 ~7 \% b9 c+ Z5 ^Experience using standard development and/or enhancement methodologies
Detail-oriented, strong analytical ability, exceptional trouble-shooting skills
Strong organizational skills; must be able to juggle a number of complex tasks at once
+ p7 N  X' ?$ E& C9 y2 FStrong communication skills, both written and verbal as incumbent will be gathering requirements and presenting solutions to clients, both internal and external to SSD.
Technical:
Required:
  N4 \$ f* ?9 G0 FExperience supporting applications in a UNIX/ORACLE environment
6 X$ @8 P& [2 bDemonstrated experience with UNIX shell scripting and SQL/PL-SQL
4 E* B  S' V: zExperience implementing, maintaining and supporting automated (cron) jobs in a UNIX environment
