Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
6 Z4 m4 m+ K1 W2 D3 y4 y- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
/ Z9 a" l; P; ^- Recruit children for summer program
& N+ z) y8 q! G: @( o  ?+ B8 t- Provide orientation for parents
/ W# j: g: `( k$ j/ U+ A- Find sponsors to enhance program
+ A3 {. X4 ]+ B/ d# q+ X- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

+ |4 Z9 M% }+ q. k; C5 R9 e/ A* TQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
4 Y( C6 l2 B$ k" f+ o+ B. ~- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ J7 A' J1 Z) ?- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
' e5 s- A1 V$ {& a6 j2 r- good computer skills
3 C0 l1 y& a7 D: \% A& U3 X- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
