Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
' A# |3 X$ _. r9 B, L* x4 _- Organize focus group(s)
! A4 K- X' z9 _1 G# L: a- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
  Q+ v. n* m9 _. E/ \- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

) u1 a% U* Y, o- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
7 w4 A3 d" S' _0 x+ d/ }: N- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
) `1 T7 i- s+ Q( h/ L1 G' o' b8 b- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
. L; {$ |1 M" q' K7 I# ^7 n- leadership abilities
- n; u# [7 w2 A. [+ B% O- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
