The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.4 I; {# T4 f$ r" D% O7 k7 U- E z

• Human Resources Management
, x1 x: A# v: e& B• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
* v+ ` t1 ~& y8 L0 t; f• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
" Q! H7 ~" m% l! j• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
3 M: W& P2 `7 j5 E. L9 h& K• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program ! `% B+ q0 j0 Q5 ^7 h. J9 F) H
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
3 B4 X; A( I# L$ B1 |/ S: _• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
: i, p8 l& p0 |• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication/ `4 m4 K$ v3 V5 y0 x
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
6 S( U" ^3 b. o& G" q6 Y# t• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department' i9 @5 I( U* E7 H; v- S) l3 D$ E1 S
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program. J1 f' u4 \! O. G. U H7 y; M
• Implement service modification, as required

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director) y5 Z. n& S# w$ }* v% S; q7 B
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
( M6 B8 E: `! X7 z" d+ \/ @7 M• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

N5 z. J6 B3 A" o5 S
( P) V2 W4 H$ a: g& g7 d7 _• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field( `; b( j& S2 p @
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities5 |4 v: {" O2 @& v5 x
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
5 [9 r: S5 g- M8 H: B3 o$ ]# g+ G) ]• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
# F2 E3 l. ]! M" Y2 d& g9 J) A" u• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population# j& p( ^+ A3 |# k
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office3 `6 s( `- T, O; q* ~; Z+ W# H
