The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.1 ?, U% |' e8 {' j* J2 l! f

) B9 a+ [4 d' M1 P• Human Resources Management. D, ^' h% J x: }0 U
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities $ c! N* o) F2 r6 Q+ ]8 V ?
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
( Y9 l& ~1 U3 f6 ^+ D• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
\ w+ c. R! |: Q9 h• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services: {9 r( h. [# N
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities1 a1 G$ W+ z& n3 H( x
3 _: s6 g S1 N" m! rProgram Delivery
& t* C$ r/ H: v1 [" }, g1 G& J2 @• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
4 g( n. [; E' X- ]" a; a• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes5 T r7 W1 a9 W4 f
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
, Q, h( f9 ~! p• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication* c( _" P" J1 ?; z# W1 Z# A2 _$ p" h7 I
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested# p. a2 [& T3 y# S& N
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
& g+ e) r8 ?2 n% S2 _• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program6 w5 j* W+ v, y
• Implement service modification, as required

& s# D- }5 W( A- I; g$ v$ `• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director0 N7 f( x" ]1 E+ J* G6 v) r( z+ U
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review. Q9 s6 I# ^$ U: O/ L
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required" ~" L! N9 @2 w/ h

Qualifications:) _! N) c; [( k7 x8 `$ X& v8 c
' d1 W2 f+ F$ @' b- q; c
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
+ e& o U: z8 M% K. t5 V, Y. M# k• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
8 e1 |) Z) W: A1 v* M4 i) Q• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
! Z- Y; ?( \ [: i; T# l• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations- b% ]% ]9 E( h# u8 S9 Z3 w4 Z
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population- a7 r, w$ @ g
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office; X4 }* X% d( A7 p' l) x7 J9 H
