The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.' `: Z6 B# y( {, U" ?' ]. L& B

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.& ^0 P* p& Z; }( C6 Z& u; P/ m

Job Duties/Responsibilities:; p1 [/ O+ _4 l
• Human Resources Management
! j7 T! t8 Z2 W- s" W' s3 t• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities `7 L. F+ z$ W9 Y/ O
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
9 Q1 ?: p( ? I6 ?. _& I• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
' U3 D. `2 p; K7 y• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
; u) @8 G8 A/ U% w1 P! ~• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
?* |- e8 R+ i2 q) \0 Z* n% W• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes7 |9 t+ `7 Z k' G- h* j% f; H
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required' i0 |; z/ V* S6 |. q& n
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication2 Q% ^' M0 Y' F8 x3 V( n) i# C! Z
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested' P" o: A# Q9 e X
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
" Z" K' t9 q( i• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
4 @% L/ t! x a ^9 U& P9 Y0 V• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director% Z( y1 v h- J
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review0 r6 ^" X6 s2 i1 B3 u: H( `
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

- B5 O. C; D$ F1 A. M% \" O: @% U" Z% t2 | G u9 g8 c* d H. N0 ~: k
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
) V0 t: M$ I) Q+ N) l• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
8 j+ g/ N) a' z% ~+ g• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience9 f7 h0 |% B7 D# U
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations5 x4 g' m- x0 E- |) a0 T! `4 A
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population; {5 G+ s. i M% B8 H
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
