The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators./ M/ j. X( l9 ] X

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management$ }& }0 E, p2 |7 W0 L* [" W; E
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities , K. J* U# X8 S8 }2 D$ Z
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors , J6 E9 _5 N' N/ K/ Q* e4 v
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities7 h' T5 j2 D! { r( L+ F
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services% f9 F+ o# e2 g
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

! i1 q7 v v5 p: A! L" t• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
% G+ Q1 f8 s: y0 A8 s' |• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
5 u; m+ ]' G, s% {• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
- p$ u9 ~6 z: p& }• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication- A* C. }0 N+ i9 e0 C# ~
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
/ @* `# z$ j4 Q2 W& g, E2 _1 P+ F• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department+ H* U- D- G; X: O$ R: r& E
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
+ ~) M# o& A6 S2 p, Y+ @; G• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review/ d! o U6 i. ~$ o/ v
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:% r, q0 k- X9 i/ k& T; q* i
0 `* o4 ?% ^; K2 o• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field% l# R( q0 H8 I
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
( q5 r& @) D+ H' B# _• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
8 a3 B9 l( M% W$ G) G; N• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations1 w9 m! A2 R- b3 H# I6 I" f9 X: J5 V
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
