The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.1 p$ P: K/ h1 }& S

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities./ H$ O& J/ t5 m* b- ^3 x

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
+ {1 F5 P0 E& J) }) m" p0 T+ X• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors {$ _4 l u( r# ^
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
! x& z/ @+ G! e5 m& Y9 ~• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services) o, I c7 i6 D0 B# Y
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
! h7 R" B" }& q; O. \( \7 n6 r• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes5 _, r# g$ A0 w3 L
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required! |0 M4 k. y/ G* M1 i ^8 |
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication: B' L- b; o# o" D' N- v! c
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested

• Implement service modification, as required

Administration
& f, o1 z: _! v( y* S m/ o6 z; }• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director& n: Z& v/ t/ Z: p% I5 T. g
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review- [/ g6 s# N9 D: Z- q$ U9 ^
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required: G/ v L3 E, \; |

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
- z& X! M& O% z6 a$ K4 M/ e! \! _• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
! G( z3 A+ i6 T) K6 [5 Z$ m+ A6 L- ]• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience- ]7 Q# A$ C" O4 B6 x
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations3 B l! l' `3 ?
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population2 w" i! w; q# E% j
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. S3 t, d2 s' \" g7 g& ~5 X
• Equivalences will be considered
