Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
$ W! Q- W1 ~2 g' \1 D! r. Q+ T1 X' XFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as ( y/ Z. p6 ]! g" z, K
well as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
; D, x% Z& Y& \' e- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library $ k# s2 Y: s+ N3 G
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
# I# @6 h# [2 V3 M) ? k( }- Implement a catalogue template for future use 7 g( v) j$ j, ?- W, k9 c4 Z
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure - v/ Y: @! B: O1 G+ T0 M
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ( i; c6 X0 [- _9 c' S7 k# Y
! F; y5 O1 y! o0 f1 G* y d- h

secondary training, university preferred

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 8 |2 `$ n& V0 O
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts 0 W4 f5 u1 J: _. F8 }( l, ^
- Strong organizational skills % y8 _& S4 ]" x5 e
- Experience or training in library sciences preferred * [# Y/ A; \% X" y7 v7 U
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
