Housing Program Worker

; |+ O* p9 Y2 K  V2 C6 `+ \Key Responsibilities:
0 S- G: L3 ~3 u4 ^3 N5 P# X5 `+ H7 m To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
3 `7 s8 ~' U( L To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
/ I4 R% k6 R: R% }, x To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

! Q- k/ q1 y2 _2 [Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
* ^% v) w8 \7 Y Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
  b# X, L8 ~0 o# s: S2 X4 x Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
% n! n; P7 I- Y Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
# Z5 P1 E! N9 P+ v" y4 p

Hourly salary range is $8 to $10/hour
