Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
6 x% \$ c& ]( J& @) | To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
  [. z0 f$ r( r- e- j" D8 i  x To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
; U, i, L$ e' N) l8 X2 _ Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
# _6 o9 Z2 t* s( ^ Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
