Housing Program Worker

# G* {6 ~% B4 f& f. K6 QKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
8 N% {- m( p9 ^( ~& o7 }' X% A1 } To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) m2 Z# @, S. L, O To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
" t+ ]; ]! K; `& ^+ S To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
, c5 a% n5 C* u1 _ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
/ M$ v& A- d9 F Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
