Housing Program Worker

) z. z0 B% \' w* E1 q$ B4 S# {6 c7 GKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
& D. A- w0 P% w: S6 z To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
8 ?8 y3 ^. B( p- {  p2 A To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
7 L( G2 I* r3 X3 r" d( F To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
1 O8 C+ L$ c  D! F5 ? To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
# f" D% h$ G7 u3 M# l/ n# K* T6 } To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
' |& [: u' w% B) \8 A To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
7 C+ n0 o: W' I3 x3 K6 @ 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
" f- o3 E, L" Q$ _9 V& `1 K Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
! A$ z0 x  v" e! O6 I Current CPR and First Aid certifications
% d! O2 l1 x! T) z5 ~. ^ Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
