Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
  w5 h! \& Q/ e* Z/ i) ]4 g6 | To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
7 Z& S0 p  e3 U0 e6 H To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
% `( Y) }1 [- t+ u0 p2 S+ u# w To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
" w* k9 J& y  A  t) I& U To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
( U2 K6 U' r6 \* M Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
) D# `/ i4 W0 h. L, D; B Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
/ V) C8 d5 y, I3 Z2 D/ R
