Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
! m: q5 V6 ]7 @ To help promote the program in the community.
! M: h9 u% n- @, E( j To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
7 [9 [: x6 v% A. _: D6 Q To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
. y  b7 d7 o- E9 T5 W* ?; z: m+ A To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
- J- ^5 C3 u7 x( J5 q$ e 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
6 Y4 M1 V8 x" \" V, c6 d6 g Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
8 s, d# b0 ?* y9 g/ p8 m9 E! t Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
6 S9 J4 }$ {% l7 B& |0 y; \ Current CPR and First Aid certifications
7 o5 }1 ]  h4 \! @& |4 g Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
