Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
6 F: z" k  _$ B8 a3 J/ OResponsibilities:
- ~4 W* q" }* G' d$ n- Organize focus group(s)
! F: i% B3 \: F- o- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
2 c: X5 m3 O1 |8 l2 M) k- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
3 K, G5 }! H4 c' X) g+ Q+ T& f
4 b9 b: X! h. i7 S& q5 U& H0 b3 T- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
' q- i" j: x2 H- communication skills
% g" M$ B* _: d/ N9 G8 _' k5 B  n- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* q3 X6 D8 H* b- y$ c- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
& {% M( ]( a9 u: ^- good computer skills
" E# L: [$ N, [* e7 d- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
