Responsibilities:
/ v. t5 Y2 w* T0 J- M2 x- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
) Y. H; B7 L; j! A7 W$ e- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
8 ?5 W! ]7 g8 j3 B9 x: J* L- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

# d) V# G, B  a2 h0 t  g2 Z% S- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
7 \* B- G+ w% u8 S, f* L: `- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
  V) ^% S8 f$ k3 u/ |4 [- good computer skills
& M+ k& ?8 w8 {; `2 V- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
