- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to , G, o8 k% R" W. c
provide services for Chinese community7 C+ K. p# o) T
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ' r' H5 }: L0 `$ E9 }
access to mainstream services
7 I" G% c5 E0 t, q* v1 ~8 \- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 5 J# Z5 w+ j; Q9 h- U r
social services6 Z6 c+ _; j& }% k
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
6 h: _9 |6 `( c" _( Y- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
9 G9 I! S f; I: Z* m+ _- update ASSIST website
; ?6 t& d) T# Q2 q: a- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

Qualifications
: P# g# t& q: N& A0 J- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
6 C# V( e2 d8 ` experience and education * D3 }/ {; ~ e+ p
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
5 x" b' n, @" y8 v* b3 h& W; o- experience in community work and immigrant services3 u: [7 n; B) s) C9 d, c) E: D
- experience in website update/design7 ]: i3 W: u3 f' K4 W+ J6 c
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
