Responsibilities:
% A1 ]' B+ ?$ ]$ P3 ~-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
( m8 j' J: Y' Y( v& C- }        implementation of the Summer Camps
" w. j( V# E+ V0 x9 x. r-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
, Q7 X3 N# O1 b* v-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
, O4 i1 h" [# C5 d* n-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

8 M1 h/ M3 Y. M3 O+ r' L5 {7 |# GQualifications:
3 U1 b0 o/ P) I- q-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
; h+ |+ V0 B% O( g( m-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
1 j+ n! F7 X* W# I+ @% X' G" a* F! Q-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
# E2 R# E# a! |-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 q: a+ Q4 C! Q* b1 b1 m5 ~/ P& q* p-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
6 O7 u1 U/ F- O0 L6 k0 m9 V) p-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  m$ F8 I  }; h" W. e" k0 j-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
5 e6 Y% H6 _. G+ A, ?& N-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
+ S. a9 J7 _7 y! x7 Y-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
