  V" I- I9 k. y7 Z-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
8 |% x' L3 h  m1 H6 t        implementation of the Summer Camps
8 y* c2 h' k) m-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
9 i6 `/ o% o0 R" u9 F-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

$ _; _" H4 y- ?. x+ P, |Qualifications:
' a" h& f" t6 |, G* l1 d-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
+ g$ E! w3 f! Z- k$ C! p+ l* ?        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- ]" i* I3 \$ c  D4 J-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
8 m5 t% D8 @! ?& o% T-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
3 [8 ~& J8 B' ~2 E, V. ]-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
9 g6 o  m6 ~2 w- N  t( z-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
' n1 A4 |' t# V+ Z# a7 e        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
