Responsibilities:
) n$ J0 a- H9 p8 B$ r4 t5 d  a6 w-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
; Y. C5 F# n9 R# r        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
( }1 f( Z, A* B* r-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
6 j( ?9 ~3 ~; i7 p-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

; S  V& s" r0 R* Q$ q0 }Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
) p. V' e" p5 Y4 a+ ~9 T2 e        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ r- p, P3 i  V/ g* y& m-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
4 k' Q9 D& w. @9 F-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
+ p) I: h# G2 C- H-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
& e- t" L  p' L2 L-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
& e* _' T& H; x7 D* U# [% b* D: `
Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
; D* A# i3 o  L) Z5 b+ v        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
; |+ ^0 C/ {4 c1 ]4 ?5 K& N+ ?9 l-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
6 X' O+ F2 H+ R0 S6 E-        $14.00 per hour
