Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009% S. p$ w& l; R" I! `- D9 K8 F5 A

- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
3 J& y0 i1 b# G preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
" ?$ d. N, S. W+ [1 R- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
4 U3 W0 U7 s) G9 c! R/ \- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies6 A+ v" m" Y0 |( U7 K3 C3 ~( |
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
3 W; o4 o& ]7 V; F c3 M7 H) a Coordinator
0 s/ ~& O3 I% `0 P [- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager t4 H" U8 i: f3 b

Qualifications:
9 a+ O7 m5 C" L, m7 |" s- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood 9 J6 \; w# K3 r2 N W
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- W7 v! o) q* z7 o3 J) S- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
, U) S6 t3 B5 u6 ~- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills6 B! y8 o* L" _; O% M5 z
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
% \) V' l" D- f# o* [, ?, f- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese# b) u6 S1 K9 r% h" U
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
8 ~; d( \) P7 o v+ R) G& T- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision/ Q8 o& m) r. ]
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)
; X3 _( W/ y% ]& l; U" ]9 }- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

`4 o) f# a- B3 W+ n/ T; d: i0 G- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) % W, r+ ]( f3 J5 L. N
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)

Salary
