Responsibilities:
" a% X. [$ t7 K& Q$ N-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
        preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
: z' A: D" l- }- r* w1 f-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
0 J( l) N( S  h. R5 Z- @. C1 u6 B        Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
( e5 o6 o: K- i  t( Y3 z-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
1 @5 I0 Y/ o3 r( E        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
3 B3 c" s, k/ G7 Z1 R: h0 P) w9 Z; |* T-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 j; i; Z; N# n4 n) j* q& U-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
- e) E0 m" T% x. n-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
/ X/ e/ c% @+ d3 `- o-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
# E( c4 H: d# {-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
. d: g9 e# s( y/ T9 {, i        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
& h+ U! P5 n7 q  E9 E& o-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
3 q* A+ O: q% K" M1 ^% |-        $14.00 per hour
