Responsibilities:! N7 ~: D9 d( ^1 U) A0 E
- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
$ L1 m/ H: ?5 M0 Q* J/ n (ages 6 to 15)
6 k& J2 I2 L. S( J- Recruit children for summer programs0 t( F& b1 y# \/ h- i
- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
' d& l" E' c5 w5 ^4 a$ q" N- Record keeping% y$ S/ [: L, Y& g* A5 k
- Provide orientation for parents! O9 l( j+ O R5 L5 L" T6 c
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency

$ R6 T2 f6 F L: i/ L5 v; A- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education, v) b+ W) G x$ U
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children3 F2 ?: V. O9 d6 V+ L2 M6 J! N/ ?/ T* U
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills* l' P) ] I/ c% B6 z) @9 m
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
( ?* ` x+ n1 o) g Z* u- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese5 P* p- t5 [: b; q/ `- |
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities4 V" ?' Q3 y: T Q9 L9 c) v

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
