    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
8 ~4 U) r2 R7 h  z) f- e    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
1 G1 y% l  y/ ?0 f+ l    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

Qualifications

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

% i/ U: @0 S) r  n9 M就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


" e& }7 L% i. `& n8 N好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
3 s$ u( g6 v' E8 P6 m0 ~wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
/ x0 }  p4 z$ P- w4 X- e
  O1 \% [8 }6 x. |" i8 Y* M2 eti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
