- h* Y8 n3 g/ A/ ]" _Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
3 k4 Y$ M9 V9 \Responsibilities:
! O: T( ?/ }1 J3 w- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
) R- i, k6 |# b% I- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
+ e7 v: g% e- T% V5 J/ _- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

9 k9 e& w: y. h# d) j7 bQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
/ b! R9 K$ O4 ~) w- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
5 R! _; k4 d  K: a- communication skills
4 r/ Z8 ~7 i$ _9 G6 Q- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 v$ ~/ @  g8 g! c- S- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
) J8 g! }8 O# P1 }5 U( G- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

: Z; V" m6 E' C6 g5 T- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
