Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

: `+ I. l% R  S" ~, I. e1 x% ]# e- Organize focus group(s)
" w* g. ?: B) C' O9 o9 Z/ W3 A% Z) Y- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
7 |) A' b/ o: G( n" c9 C- Recruit children for summer program
" O$ |! j5 Z" E: f0 W- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

2 Q3 B7 T* \! r9 AQualifications:

+ t0 ~- i" P! x! {" ^3 G. \2 k. J- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
9 C2 R3 ~2 }9 g: e- communication skills
; M) `! B3 z$ G( q- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
  [$ [) a* |: `6 E8 B- good computer skills
" e9 H* ~3 q3 j+ }8 U' _- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
