A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.! u$ {, M# A# B$ W, {' R
This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and

5 }/ N: t3 ~& f. y4 J! u0 K' Y$ |0 r0 \• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1)
' x# y4 a+ q; J* A: S• Standard Child Care First Aid, G1 m' `. V# ]( J7 z) T, m
• WHMIS
# o' k2 R) R p) l' E• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
; ~. v8 ~+ i2 s• Components to improve communication skills
8 h! k6 y1 [/ S8 h9 {• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search
9 v( s, @# y1 Y' z6 m' z• Practicum Placements

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen a5 G( ^( _( J- X
of Canada
8 `, d) ]+ @; C8 M+ ]• have a Social Insurance Number( S; B+ j. r4 X2 z! F
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check" F1 C# G4 `7 i7 U$ G1 v# x
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent7 z6 _" i' O2 B! E* g0 `8 q
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
