Diesel Car Can't star up again!

Diesel car is really hard to start in cold winter.

/ V( `/ T  u" U2 J4 z4 I  |3 ?! N& bI have a 06 disel TDI, cound not start again this morning becuase there is no plug in on parking lot.

1 U8 L: ~8 _' W1 @+ @8 {; JMy Mercedes always start no matter the temp is. Might due to I use syn mobile 1 oil?

because you still have summer diesel in your tank,  summer diesel will gel up at  -12.

you should leave this car in shop overnight, let it warm up,  add in some diesel anti-gel addtives and fill up with winter diesel

This car was from Vancouver, maybe it is becuase of the fuel.

% M" n. t  q$ E# bWith Plug-in, easy one strike start, but without warming up, needs 5-7 times try.

I do follow the manual saying to the position 3, wait until the icon gone, still needs 3-6 times try in cold weather.

This TDI shows more concerns than the hard to start in winter.

when temp drops below -20, the shocks all around squeeze!

& V5 S/ r5 W1 B5 S5 O/ {4 NIt is anoying and the VW says they can do nothing on this.

: Z1 L4 C7 l2 j0 f7 _( H5 GI am very disspointed with VW, last time I had a jetta city 2007 only 10,000km, the engine shakes like hell, and sent the car the VW, they say:"it is normal!" I don't think so then becuase a gas engine car should not behave like that, stering wheel is jumping (no exagerating)

0 x0 F1 f, B; e7 h2 {# y+ X) i) B. fSuzuki Aerio 2005-2006 have the same problem due to the wrong spec of the shock absorber, maybe TDI is designed for warm weather driving only.

冷油，比汽油车热的都要慢不少。
点车的时候，当然不容易啦。最好还是插电。

我开道奇的柴油车，冬天打火是费尽，除了柴油本身的原因，
: X1 ?- Z# t, `! z' k6 G% v我觉得车上的报警系统很费电，连续3天不开，估计就打不着了。

2 N  P& S1 c( L: ?# c1 R0 V( [% ^8 s除了插电，还要把车头摆好，准备早上 借个火。
寒冬快过去了，明年再好好准备吧。
