The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog: `& x! F4 j9 L
9 t( Y2 h( p* k( w3 M$ yThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw
! \+ E" {, a2 \' s3 z, cThat has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
5 v* `2 Y% N" ?6 EThat has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
* K6 b, N& K! tCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
8 q/ J( c' _: q" L' ^- ICertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club 2 R+ t8 V+ [( c8 u( S! N- [. u
Note: The restricted dog definition does NOT include any dog that is registered, or eligible for registration, with the Canadian Kennel Club as a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. |
