急问:公立小学的"COGITO PROGRAM"是什么意思

今天给孩子报名上学,登记的老师问是"REGULAR"还是"COGITO"?只好拿点材料走了,看了看也不清楚两者区别.另外听说还有AC,IB等等PROGRAM,这些都是什么意思?
另外,天主教学校好吗?
真不知选什么学校合适.

简单看了一下，大概是和普通学校不同的教育方式，强化听说读写，教学大纲的要求更高些，更学术些。
