Edmonton — Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead in a west-end apartment yesterday morning.# }! [/ j. k8 D W3 Y) g8 B
: N! {/ k7 {( pAmbulance personnel were called to the building at 9023 184 St. at around 4:20 a.m., found the body of a 50-year-old woman inside one of the suites, and called police.

Investigators have not released the cause of death, but are calling the death suspicious.2 ^, p* G% }7 G9 S

Police say the address is known to west division officers, who have responded to the suite several times in the past for family-related disturbances.7 @; j2 D$ L' y e! O

Officers are speaking to a 20-year-old man who lived in the suite with the woman.% j4 N0 Z, C6 z

Yellow police tape surrounded the entrance to the eight-unit, three-storey tall building as tight-lipped EPS officers walked in and out of the home throughout the day.
