Position: Volunteer Services Manager / Location: Edmonton / Closing Date: November 07, 2008 / NOTE: This is a bargaining unit position.

S" F+ T7 p+ Y# q8 N) jPosition Abstract: responsible for the administration, supervision/management of a comprehensive volunteer program that supports CKUA Radio's mission, vision and strategic plan, this full time position also supervises any support resources required to administer the functions of the volunteer department.

) q8 l6 p) V, V7 y5 |) c+ d- sKey Responsibilities: volunteer recruitment, development/implementation of a volunteer recognition program, training volunteers, development of policy &  procedures that support the volunteer program, administering a volunteer record keeping system. PLUS: responsible for working with CKUA's nine Volunteer Chapters located throughout Alberta by providing them with guidelines, operating processes & training.

, @8 B2 K! ^. n) BQualifications: formal training in a post secondary program of study geared to volunteer management/experience working with volunteers in a charitable organization essential; experience working in a unionized environment is desired. Some travel required.
