; b- O, V8 _6 v2 m. }8 v6 CStep3.        Call 911 for the police and ambulance (if needed) immediately.
                Report any injuries.

/ y* w% u4 y. Z% ^3 {Step4.        If another vehicle is involved, get the car’s year, make, model
, g2 |! ^' `$ H  _& b                and license plate number; the driver’s name, address and license
                number; and the name of his or her insurance company. If the
                driver does not own the car, get the name of the car’s owner.
% q; w0 u" Q+ q$ z: t                Write down names and addresses of other passengers or
3 S3 A. [3 t% @8 Z! C                witnesses. If you have a camera take pictures of the accident

! \. H7 V/ @. jStep5.        The police officer will give you a copy of the collision report.

* [4 C$ L: d0 g  j  OStep6.        Cooperate with the police, but do not admit guilt for the
" L% j( p$ |- r( c' Z                accident in any way. You may be required to show proof of
                insurance, but do not reveal how much coverage you have.

. I4 [+ ^4 |8 {+ B' p, rStep7.        Do not accept any money the other driver may offer. By
                accepting money, you may give up your right to file a claim
                against the other driver, even if the damages turn out to be
                more extensive than you first thought.

6 [7 Z4 F/ S' U8 O/ i% cStep8.        Do not agree to forget about a minor accident. You may see
                later that there were hidden damages or injuries. The other
, w( A( n% V: r                person may even file a lawsuit against you.

% t1 a0 }# B/ n# M2 D% xStep9.        Write an account of what happened: time of day, weather,
                hazards, road conditions and driving speed. Draw a picture of
" D8 A4 ^4 K# j4 p. H1 h                the site, showing stop signs, signal lights, etc. Try to measure
5 g) B7 D/ `+ D. \5 z; f6 S& O7 n( O                skid marks and determine the point of impact. Note any damage
                already on other cars involved. If a camera is available, take
                pictures of the accident.

Step10.    Report the accident to your insurance agent or insurance
                company as soon as possible. Call a lawyer Bruce King, to discuss

第二，       检查一下是否有人受伤。千万不要挪动一个受伤的人。

第三，        马上拔打电话911，报警和呼叫救护车（如果需要的话），报告受伤

! ~% e8 {5 e) I; q. D$ s& P5 ]第四，        如果另一辆车也卷入车祸中，要获得此车的年份，制造商，型号，
                汽车牌照号码，司机姓名，地址，驾照号码和他（或她）的保险公司
                名称。如果司机不是车主，要知道车主的姓名。记下其他乘客或目击
) D4 f4 G/ u( q$ S% Z                证人的姓名地址。如果你有相机在身边，把车祸现场拍照。

9 q, g# {3 c" s# h第六，        要与警察合作，但先不要承认在车祸中负责任。你也许被要求出示保
                险证明，但不要告知你保险的数额。

                方司机的权力 ，甚至损害最终被证实远超过你最初的想象。

+ F% x3 b, }0 U第八，        不要同意忘记一个小的车祸，你后来可能看到会有隐匿的损害或受

第九，        留下一个记录写明发生了什么，日期，天气，受到的伤害，路况和车
! w$ i+ a4 @! t3 B8 G                速。画一个现场图，标明停牌，信号灯等。尽量测量出刹车线和查明
                碰撞点。注意对方车辆的已经有的破损。如果有相机，把事故现场拍
                下来。

第十，        尽快把事故报告给你的保险代理人或公司，给一个律师打电话，讨论
