Job Description – Responsibilities
$ @% m  K! [" D$ I•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
6 n4 P: p$ E1 g, }•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
' X4 ]" y1 i  U•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
" j+ A+ a# Y0 R, ?5 {•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
6 ]' Z7 r% A) W$ N' ^! o•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
- v% x7 ~% T( }•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
* j. e$ A/ S- Z•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

& I2 a8 V: s, H& z7 D) g' N. `Qualifications
  m2 z8 [  T' d+ l9 `•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
/ ]# _) a8 L' _/ o0 N$ C•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
