& G- u  T% y+ S1 L•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
, R* y# g6 ^8 S+ t# f•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
- G  J% E% R$ x( q/ d. G! m•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
" H2 d. ~6 p8 r; F' F•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
+ R( y; L! }+ j7 P6 Y1 B' z•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
" U6 t( ?9 k2 m•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
8 U/ _0 Q! R! n$ p7 L9 i•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
8 m/ o. s) @8 Y) q" W6 f  \# [•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
1 J$ e# Q; ?9 {% a9 l8 }( o•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

' W9 z8 K/ m% S. _/ EQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
. w9 I& I. H5 _4 P6 z! k•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
! w6 P9 o3 ~+ V4 [+ ^•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
- f, v  B( h* \4 P9 w9 p# `' p, \# L•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
2 q' M$ p4 J4 Z9 G7 r  S•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
