Position: Youth Services Manager
( \! l" n  h# A' ^" HFull time position (35 hours each week)

1 {1 j7 b+ J3 S6 j4 S  V" cJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
6 e. z9 m1 H  u1 X& O•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; J% n2 O: A2 |: Z7 J! g' |( f5 l•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
9 C, ^, P6 i. H& m•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
: O# q; x6 k4 Y. y* Q! F: v•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
! \4 B3 m. g  C•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
3 J; n/ y" o0 F5 R% G2 M. t•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- `) m& ?' a* u" O; XQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
& ~9 d% N) P- F6 E5 G& s•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
