Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
# j- A: S1 P" y4 bFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
6 N5 o% E$ h0 V•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' k% Z% n! d$ @•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
% I! ^/ I3 I  a1 B* |* S- S* f' ^' ]•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
" G1 a) ?# e  r4 _* R  c5 U- t•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

2 [8 n5 z, n) C, j2 n1 WQualifications
& b1 w  f: ~; e•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
) n& C. Z& \- h% `9 D•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
9 w# ?- X( z4 n  V# f1 k•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
