Job Description
$ G6 V% w3 L) qPosition: Youth Services Manager
, c8 A8 }" c2 K& K& f! |4 r: @1 VFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
  D: e& c, h/ Q5 f•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
! X  a, z+ e8 T•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
. H. y4 h  q" x9 w•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
9 ?; u5 {# T8 t9 K. o/ n( a•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
9 c2 `2 [$ \$ W•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
( b$ l$ Y; c1 m•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
) j  e" z. `' W: L$ l•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
; H- Q6 k3 F- A3 t•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

) f0 l" x, H! Q; k0 ?) K6 T% z+ O  FQualifications
& w1 b$ E; H0 u* h8 s0 j•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
# D+ G: k4 l- [$ v7 C" y•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
5 R( k6 s5 g, u% V3 g9 J•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
6 d" W& ?, v9 k7 L•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
/ F# O/ g1 k; ~•        willingness to learn
