Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
  ?4 }/ G! u8 J, }) i4 f. t, {•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
/ {& l0 i3 [1 w4 x) B4 ~•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
0 t) u' A5 l7 E2 x0 U•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* u, j4 E* Q) c# ^2 |/ E. [2 _•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
/ z/ h: g* [$ M! m•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
0 u  Z* r# }% E* |% E9 t. ~•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" ~% G& \1 H; I( C: C•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
