大约山地时间清晨2:20左右，警察接到报警电话，在whitemud drive,170street附近，一辆银色Infiniti正遭到枪击。

在警察赶到之前，一名男性乘客迅速逃离现场，同时报告显示，在枪击发生后，一辆白色小车也急速逃离现场。

枪击案发生的真正原因仍在调查之中，但是警察相信这起事件不是无目的的枪击案，它很可能与黑帮有关。

目前尚未发现嫌疑人，也没有人被拘捕。

一男性遇刺身亡

Edmonton police are investigating two killings from early Sunday morning, the city's 20th and 21st homicides of the year.

' Y, q) U* r- F- B; n* JIn the first incident, a 30-year-old man is dead in what police are calling a "gang motivated" shooting near Whitemud Drive, the Edmonton Police Service said in a press release.

The driver of the car was found dead at the scene.

One male passenger fled from the vehicle before police arrived, and reports indicate a small white car was seen fleeing the scene after the shots were fired.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, but police believe the incident is not random and is likely gang-related.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.

He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Q& R3 B* ~2 M4 y( J" V  fA police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.

$ D7 @5 V  T) R5 NThe three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.
