The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

> and over again people tell us that they could never

& C* |5 N1 Q0 P/ _% T> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One8 [0 E% E) K' C
> who does understand and
. g2 H( f# j& f6 I6 L/ u( p5 Z> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
* A6 N7 L$ m6 h& c> happened when God gave the
0 r' Z. M% L3 v/ Q0 @# ]3 _) r> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
3 P$ g* w+ V7 d/ o2 J> sinful lives and to purchase
% I$ S- K# {# m: R% M> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
1 s# C9 J3 u9 R' z! | j> His son from the dead
* l, C1 P7 J- X7 V. Y! J> and conquered death. It is though this event where
- {/ `( a% P# v> human history was! A: t4 w! Y8 G _( G2 |. F. l
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
. |& k/ W1 u/ I1 E: ~! I> hope. This hope, that's
' _( V; ~3 r% F8 G/ O% |+ q> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
- g7 ~ Y( o `5 O/ `> certainty based on the
- h0 s* P9 M2 X6 y> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager8 A9 D. v! L, K+ _3 v2 b1 Y
> anticipation and a longing, K/ ~5 ^* k& I1 [) z
> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.
) t3 f/ Z2 R3 y- H. F/ G> It is this hope that2 d9 M. P6 ~$ p8 ~' W4 J- h0 J
> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of& s9 @6 r6 U. \$ ^8 G
> Peace comes to our hearts
