Major Responsibilities: ) I  B9 C! N; _3 p& V8 R
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 V% q' `$ C" r$ K; x. S: n
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
6 z( [/ u# t5 _•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
2 S6 I. j" E& w+ f+ W1 Z•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.( R& t2 T9 i3 T2 B; \8 D( \
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
/ N/ b, W' h" \•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.& V$ o, d$ @) a
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 k( |* N/ V2 R  c! y. v
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 ^- }! U* c8 o) @4 b$ n7 j
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
! {2 v2 h- F% T•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" s& P2 K# O' w4 w- U•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
