Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant' f3 s. L1 N2 J' z! N: v
Location:        Edmonton
  m: @8 g+ t/ M& U' K: @Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: # x9 ^3 j+ K2 ^# l3 x3 x  f
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
4 Q+ |6 c$ j/ |* ~•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# x( D  C- X! x  H. @( D
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
2 T7 w) ?3 O2 ^•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
1 q3 J7 K, ~- s' M4 @9 n•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 p9 Z, B0 Y( s0 M
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
$ z8 [4 {$ f; ?1 t- A8 A•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
1 G$ [# K3 x3 m3 W•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.( B- L  V+ _  M2 N; L9 I
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., n) X/ H  C' L
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.; q; q) u7 n4 v5 ?" h
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 h9 w. B9 d3 R* X* V" ]; _* |•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

- ]* I/ z$ ^. a* v7 \+ v$ v•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ; q: r3 j6 M: M; _$ i# \0 Z; M
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( ?0 ^$ B+ J( q5 m•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 N0 t" z5 \  e7 J
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' _3 f! R" A% z  a7 A•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential" T" T0 l5 e, i4 I/ Z
•        Not scared of heights# P: q8 |/ H+ R" n* q# {
