Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
Q! Y. W0 D( i- a2 H" e5 I3 c• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 `) n) e/ q) T6 ?" T
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 K* W9 u) c( z# R, @; d
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
& {0 V) t2 \" N0 u: n( h• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
0 k6 r2 S. W1 W8 G• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) S7 }! c; @4 j* c* F) ~
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
4 {! z- ?7 H' X4 R5 `3 H( {• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.' Z$ l* n& [' Y: v1 Q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
, R9 i9 X# | c% M• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 X& t! S$ y$ c7 B0 J/ l
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" M" t/ A, i6 ~6 r: P• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 I) `( c+ g0 }+ e! G: H2 ?
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
* m2 }, a- I4 j; d9 Y• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:- J( e+ w' |5 m0 w: M3 p4 d
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
5 y1 v* X/ j7 K8 l; Y/ x3 `• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
5 f4 q- @7 H0 }5 O• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 D! f$ [6 o2 b
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 7 G% ^0 m- _! Z; e3 n
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other& p! ^* o% u- Y$ ?# T
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ( X3 _, M! q8 L
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.' T/ S% E7 Z5 @. ^5 _
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.3 c7 s+ V5 R0 r* u
