Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

) T& c; d1 g: V9 U•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." r4 V6 G  M+ `9 _
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% g" O) e  D+ {8 W' z' j•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.

•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 C9 f# P. ~6 B& z4 @
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.8 Z7 x. j8 j2 k$ J' O! ^! \

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.) U, @* N" m. V* V
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.- ~) [$ S& T: v6 p& Q
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) h7 }" p0 X/ ]1 X
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
