Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
' P4 p5 X& y* h1 N2 u•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.( d8 W; q4 b( e: B( ~+ Z
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 E0 R' K) s1 X2 d  ]: z8 O9 s5 W•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  3 G& H* q: f5 U0 `5 ?7 N& e
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
+ p; E0 n/ N9 H! ^7 L; T# |0 Y•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' T$ \! T0 {% b+ L! @
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.* c, |- |' F1 c% y* p( H
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 o' x0 v, W9 q9 b3 p
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* c+ f& z( p- R% r•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., z" u# C+ j* s. J" G% d) v
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.( @( k4 N+ O' u- q' `
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: B6 \2 F* |; O7 x; i  ?

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
