- w7 u( z) C2 c* z: t8 `    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
; V9 G. ^: J- R  l: R9 j    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
2 m/ k& d6 I  e  [) i9 q    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
8 e2 ^" M7 p6 x9 S; W; v! @    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
9 X' J3 R- l2 |    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
/ n( V8 d7 R- k    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
7 C( o7 @, V% E, r2 A    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
) R8 W; d# y: E6 p8 X+ x    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

% _' \* W  t1 W! i* m' wQualifications

6 w4 h! q' a8 S1 h$ p    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
1 z0 g4 Y! v$ ]( h1 T    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
. |8 Z6 a* ~2 y4 @2 H: \4 ?& `    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
