* Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program! m8 g# x% s7 | K# p
* Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities: u! L, `( Z" ~4 f
* Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes$ q/ V9 I4 g9 I P0 y4 z1 ^4 Y
* Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat, r- W4 Y1 s7 K3 H: ~$ W: p+ E
* Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders+ e V7 G4 T9 E6 {# p$ Z7 F& M
* Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements! i5 h! l4 r/ E/ h9 B+ K9 ^
* Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
# b8 z2 t6 J0 h% ?# l) R. E# g2 v * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
. ?1 d. p# P0 ?( h% |, ~6 ^ * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning

* Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred/ p5 H; Y" A- c& f: M+ _
* Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth ^5 z+ t: ?) j3 y- s
* Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
' @0 X M8 d( G8 x K P * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
$ i$ d0 `8 ?& }/ K' N1 A6 I6 a * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills) T5 c; U1 c5 J* J: V/ L
* Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning+ ]5 s; ?1 s3 r- ?- _( S
* Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)- F$ x! f" n% |9 x7 h- j
* Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
