Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

/ C+ y& Z! h& @EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.4 Y* A. X; N( V2 H& k' S
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.6 ]9 X( u3 O! t6 N. J$ D
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.
& v* K2 X- V7 }The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
