EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.8 A4 @3 \9 ?- K; `7 E
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m./ B9 T7 Y: J# n+ V/ S- x) t
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.6 ^$ P" o2 `1 r; k+ K
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
