Meaning:

English: The worst job, the least pay, also Dump on

Example:
I work with Ken, I always get the short end of the stick. He gives me the hard jobs

I heard this saying last night in a movie, when one said she had something important to tell the other woman, about her husband's cheating on her. The other woman said this sentence. I  thought she meant to mean that she is so eager to know.
