Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is
7 a/ x7 [- F' ^. V1 nrecruiting for community support workers in the
8 M) g5 ~& f6 M; I4 T$ TCoordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of0 j f* A( W1 T2 Y
locations in the city.
, N! B, g& A: v' @6 IStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary
7 a- _: w3 }) w# y" jcare givers of children with moderate to severe physical, Y* W" l6 I/ A( y+ `1 c; I8 M
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three: ?2 i$ x- k/ H+ o
(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school
. G1 k. ]7 d9 y, b$ r8 T3 ~year, as the children are in school during the day, the5 R8 i" [$ B: A7 Z# X
bulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and& ~7 S$ T m4 |8 x6 X
evenings or on weekends.8 k# s: C& ], b# z+ o
However, during the summer months, there will be

• a minimum of six months experience in working( M5 v0 c3 S+ N1 ` f/ s% V; v
with children with mental and/or physical
