2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
5 `6 S5 S" M4 bproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
! c, Z9 o4 @' u' g2 s0 x8 [8 Ydrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for" R: k* k& l( r0 T$ W
specification and installation.
$ ]5 [0 e4 L$ E' D( D3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning6 |/ N3 u7 E7 h$ Y9 t
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these/ c9 p( C8 F" { k2 y6 U- q

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
* z7 ]8 Y4 `5 k4 froutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
D: j$ K5 `1 j4 H7 Q- a% r# d5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction8 g" M: ]( j# a
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect% a/ P5 \/ s; O" b) f% b# `& x
& Design (A&D) drawing sets.

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job+ Y- F6 i6 E7 S* ^7 {
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
5 O& S0 V4 _1 c7 N9 _2 I6 _9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.
0 T) i* R8 D, C6 h: X10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.6 h0 S% v! c6 [

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a

experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general
% W0 K' J. @; r2 Z3 Sknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.) o5 a! A9 ^3 F$ w5 j) X) l

Experience with furniture design and specification software required.
