Interior Designer

to the Supervisor, Interior Design or the furniture leader in those divisions- J# u4 R' M5 L9 @+ c
that do not have multiple designers and a design supervisor.

" ?1 S3 P) h! _! a8 X2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
: ~$ i; Y! X8 E- f2 e( n iproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
* L! E$ }- P, o& O9 G. `drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
' X3 M& W2 p( l( ^7 T" `0 {specification and installation.+ R6 Z+ ]- y3 h/ X" ~
3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
6 k; ~/ j5 n: `9 N# a' Qmeetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering0 a' j. u6 s0 q! M8 @3 m' Y
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
9 G* Z+ |) @- a& E8 b' W5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
k$ Y) e8 I: L$ kplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job$ G0 f& }- s- X) f- f
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
% a Z g# @5 s; _8 V' w6 Wassures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes% R' d# F1 T D! A9 [+ k
and revisions.

inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.- f n+ g" r. U1 I
9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and [/ P% C G5 l S) _/ t0 o
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general
" y3 h" l, M& r* }0 y6 v6 N" wknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
