Police warn women about Garneau sex assaults

. m4 H2 t% o5 R; v# \% IEDMONTON - Edmonton police are warning women in the Garneau area after three women were attacked and sexually assaulted while they slept in their homes.

. X' A/ |8 i7 }& i" V% P* a+ r) U: sThe first attack was in February when a man broke into a home on 111th Street and 81st Avenue in the early morning and sexually assaulted a 24-year old woman. A man returned to the same residence earlier this month between midnight and 6 a.m. and sexually assaulted a 47-year-old woman, police said./ q* e! } r+ R U* [8 _3 Y7 t

The most recent attack occurred last weekend when a man broke into a house at 111th Street and 80th Avenue. He pepper-sprayed and assaulted a 21-year-old woman. $ @# ~% X" r1 B# x2 r* M. l
