JERUSALEM - Israel is sending disaster relief to China.

: ^+ l0 D9 ]0 _Foreign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.

7 Y) z, D* Q+ B! t3 k2 E ?0 ^0 GMekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.
