Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele- [: M! v" X/ ]7 i: {- ?* p7 J8 r$ k: z
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
4 t( R2 `- J3 c0 }2 p: R9 WResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers' e! [% N, e1 r% H1 f- C
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
3 ^: l h( ` u: z2 fWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
7 q$ o! N+ }- D& Y; ?3 WEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System! `+ r4 P- E& [1 d2 q
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP' l! N: C/ y2 ]' ^* l. i
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
! w3 O4 E" a* VRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
( o$ q5 B0 Q1 R6 uMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
' N% v+ H" K6 |2 ~! SExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)# G: T' P/ T P/ l3 T
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
