Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
% O: w5 `1 l6 Q, rResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
4 Z% Z& \% o' A5 I+ x' Z- GWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
" A9 E  o7 U/ A: o* P; TDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
& C  @$ Y: I, F  z, dDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
! _) _+ J- n3 C/ \+ [7 yMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
/ ^! Z& G6 d$ ]% m0 Q# _0 T8 LStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
