Job Description

Qualifications:

- customer service and office clerical experiences

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services9 W/ c4 c. B; p L5 {3 Q" |. Y
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies9 y- R, x7 g; {5 j
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members' _( O8 V# F! J9 G+ R2 D; R1 P
- update ASSIST website
2 A; f0 t1 i# Z9 G+ E2 b2 O- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
* v3 S& ^( u8 @2 x( h- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
4 P7 ^, S/ M# J8 Q6 d0 V- assist in writing proposal for ISP, }) @# |6 { A5 K6 ~8 m# L
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
8 T0 b9 [( p# I3 E3 w- hold regular meetings with ISP team, r; H. \9 z* l; P8 l( I
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time. ^; v1 |' ]/ J8 y0 L$ e
- update membership database

7 _/ E9 V/ |1 M" N- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
( l. t7 G* V8 X& I$ O# I- good oral and written Chinese and English skills' q: \% y; l a. f
- experience in community work and immigrant services$ x, e1 d8 t( {# T
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
