Skills and Competencies:
( g$ R( b/ t7 K# h- _" P•        Completion of an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Technician college program or university degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc. (Eng).
/ Z8 U. [& r! E/ W•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD 2000 or higher and Visio is an asset.
# P9 Z$ @- A( @! a% i•        Extensive knowledge of PC’s, software, networks, Internet related technologies.
•        Experience in designing and programming HVAC control systems and/or robotics an asset.
$ R5 `6 \0 C0 ]- M8 o•        Strong verbal and written communication skills.
# W1 {" k: }9 N! g•        The ability to interface effectively with clients and contractors.
•        Strong interpersonal skills.
•        The ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
•        Ability to work in a process driven environment.

Responsibilities:
1 r* n: X' o( h1 ^! o•        Review job contract plans and specifications, survey information, sales sketches, estimates and take-off sheets.  Clearly define requirements prior to starting engineering.
•        Design control systems, create control drawings, and determine DDC controller system sequences.
•        Program software algorithms for building automation system
•        Manage personal backlog of projects
